The Brown Barn Press presents the photographs of George F. Johnson.  The Brown Barn Press was housed in this brown barn located in Running Springs, California, high in the San Bernardino Mountains about 90 miles East of Los Angeles.   The business and studio are now located in Beaumont, CA., 25 miles West of Palm Springs on the 10 Fwy.

Mr. Johnson captures his images with a Hasselblad using film and three Canon digital cameras.  Two of the cameras has been converted to capture infrared.  The pictures are hand printed by Mr. Johnson using Giclee, Platinum/Palladium, Intaglio or Platinum/Palladium over pigment ink.
